The Perry County Port Authority operates both the Hoosier Southern Railroad and the Tell City River Port, offering customers with an avenue for international shipping and receiving of products.

  • The Hoosier Southern Railroad is a short line railroad, which links both the Tell City River Port and area industry with the Norfolk Southern Railroad.

  • The Tell City River Port, located at mile 727 on the Ohio River, specializes in loading and off-loading, handling and storage of bulk material, along with on-site weighing facilities for both truck and rail. The port is served by American Commercial Barge Line (ACBL) and Ingram Barge Company.

Perry County Municipal Airport

The Perry County Municipal Airport was recently expanded to 4,400 feet long by 75 feet wide.
