Nearly 1,500 commuters find their way into Perry County to fill positions. The majority of these commuters are from the neighboring Indiana counties of Crawford, Spencer and Dubois, along with Kentucky’s Hancock and Breckenridge Counties. These counties, too, offer an available workforce to compliment that which already exists in Perry County.

Finally, everyone appreciates the ability to work close to home, especially with the cost of fuel near $4.00 per gallon. The workforce that leaves Perry County’s borders each day offers new businesses an even larger employee pool from which to draw as county residents are attracted back to jobs within the Community.
